DMin Course Sharing
Please note that the procedures for Dmin course sharing is different from ordinary Consortium cross-registration. The following procedures apply to DMin students:
-
A student who is taking a course in another Consortium Institution will pay tuition to the Host Institution for the course. All other fees that are normally charged to an extern student (admission, registration, course transfer, etc.) will be waived.
-
Consortium students taking a course in another Consortium institution will have ‘Simplified Access’ to listed courses. That is, the student will provide a simple form from his/her Director to the Doctor of Ministry Director of the Host Institution. There will be no admissions process.
-
Courses in another Consortium institution’s Doctor of Ministry program that are listed on the Consortium Website can be taken with the permission of a student’s Director/Advisor.
-
The academic policies of the Host Institution apply. If a Host Institution has a minimum passing grade, for example, that will apply. In questions that arise on individual cross registrations of students, the Doctor of Ministry program directors of the two institutions will confer and decide what seems best for all. This follows the common practice of the Consortium Council of Academic Deans.
